Changing Start Up Disk On Mac OSX

So I have a Mac Mini (Late 2014), currently I have an external ssd acting as the startup disk, all of my stiff is saved onto this ssd as well. how do i move everything to the built in hard drive and reboot the os on the hard drive.

 

basically i want to move everything from the external ssd on to the built in hard drive.

hold options when booting. Its also in system prefernes.

the built in hard drive doesnt show up, just the ssd and the recovery drive

no, everything is on the ssd, the hard drive is completely empty

Oh you want to clone the drive.

 

Im assuming your using OSX

 

 

Open disk utility

 

 

Select the ssd on the left, then click restore at the top. Then select the hdd in the popup menu.

no option to restore the drive. wont let me click on the restore option

Is the drive good? Can your make a partition if you want?

 

Try doing this in recovery mode.
