- OSX is FAR more efficient thatn WIndows - believe me, I HAVE done my fair share of testing. I misread

And power limits include a thermal throttling temp target just like very chip built in the last 10 years. Whats your next excuse for it getting hot? The 13 runs just as hot as a Pro and the Blade Stealth.

No? TDP throttling means it would throttle regarldess of 60*C of 160*C - stop imagining things

It has a custom TDP throttle due to the cooler not being able to handle the heat of a full chip. It's still thermal throttling.

No? The full chip needs 25W - that is only available on business laptops. The standard 15W is the same on 99% of ULV-based chips. It's not the cooler, it's the Intel firmware

Ah I forgot the 6000 series are weird. But no matter what it still runs hot. The Pro's use 25 watt chips and are as cool running. The XPS is not a cool running laptop under load.

I agree with @Shiv78. I have a MBP from a few years back, and I wouldn't be comparing that to the BS. 

The MBP is terrible at gaming and doesn't even have the option to run an external GPU.

The iGPU in the BS is also not capable of gaming - and the CPU bottlenecks most GPUs soo it's not any better.

Where did you get that it can't use an external gpu? People have been building crap to use EGPU's on then since they announced they had thunderbolt. And the Pro is just as good as every other Iris graphics laptop out there.

7500U is a 2.9GHz dual-core with HT limited to 15W for the whole package. Performance is under that of the i3 6100 - a 3.7GHz dual-core with HT not limited by power

Also, I think everyone can agree that MacBook aren't the best gaming solution.

Lastly, don't give me that "well people have been making their own solutions for years" answer. I'm looking for sth on the market.

ALTHOUGH, I have seen a Kickstarter for an egpu unit for the MacBook, so I'll give you that.

So the Core counts as a legitimate solution now? It's hilariously overpriced for what it is. You say the Pro's can't do it but yes it can. Also if you can get a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 converter it WILL work with the core.

You're missing my point. It's not about whether the Core is viable or if it's affordable. It's about the Core being an actual product while there is no MacBook equivalent on the market. If I'm wrong, show me a product that enables macbooks to game.

Now you're talking. Wasnt aware of a product already existing for the Mac. But it costs just as much as the Core.

Cause he linked the most expensive premade one. You can easily make this yourself DIY at a far lower cost. People have been doing this since TB2 existed. The problem is your 13in MBP still sucks ass cause it's a duo-core. Only the 15in one's with true quad core can run it properly and even then you need to crank the fans all the way up.

I guess my point still stands then: there is no proper gaming solution for the macbook. However, now I know the Stealth is just as incapable.
