HyperX M.2 SSD

Considering this SSD, any idea about how good it is?

samsung just announced the 960 pro and evo.. The evo looks like an excellent choice. Not sure on the price though or how long you'll need to wait to be available

I have the 480GB version but I got it for like ~$230 from Linus's warehouse sale in August 2015. I put my OS on this drive and it boots up in just a couple seconds. The few games I put on there (Witcher 3, MGS5, any ~50GB game, etc) loads up really fast. IIRC it was probably one of the fastest consumer M.2 SSD out there in 2015, but nowadays there's NVME which are even faster. If you REALLY want to spend that amount of money then check out the Samsung 960 Pro/Evo. These new drives are more than twice as fast as the HyperX Predator which makes me sort of jealous =P.

It's just a bit sad, I would really go for the 950/960 SSD's if I could, but the input it poorly places on the X99-s, my AIO is in the way
Need something that's hooked up under my GPU.

You can't take the AIO off, put the M.2 on, and then put the AIO back on? If not then you probably need a PCI-e to M.2 adaptor.

No I mean that the tubing is like permanently in the way in my current config. 

 

I can't really move it without it looking terrible or being generally bad.
