Dumb Question but What do these Logos Mean?

Appleboy45

There really isn't a point in asking this question, but being the curious person that I am, I was looking at both of my Nintendo DS power adapter (They are both genuine as one came with my DSi XL and the other came with a 3DS XL) what does the Zebra on one of the adapters and the M mean on the other?

I believe those are the OEM's that manufactured the power adapters.

By any chance anyone know what the difference is? Like year it was made?

Those are maker's marks. Nintendo likely employs plants to produce the housings and circuitry for their products. If you look at the adapter it may have a date or an additional maker's mark.

Well that's the only difference aside form the serial numbers. By any chance the serial number tells the date of manufacture. it's kind of dumb but I'm curious.

Just search "nintendo adapter [serial number]". It may pull something up.

Yeah, as mentioned they are likely the manufacturer of these power adapters.

I got a bit curious and checked out all my Nintendo Power adapters I have (Note: I have adapters with 'CEE 7/3' plugs, I'm from Western Europe).

My GameCube adapters have neither company on them and my GBA SP, Nintendo Lite, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS power adapters all have the 'm' brand on them (all genuine adapters).
