[Bitfenix Ghost mod] -Personal build (Any ideas?)

This is propably one of the first modded Bitfenix Ghost builds on the internet.

I have used very very little funds to mod this so...

 

This far i have done:

- A window

- Taken out the 5,25" bays

- Made a metall plate

- Changed pwr and hdd leds to blue ones

- Made a aluminium Frostbite logo with leds.  Credits to: Razbit for helping me.

- Made another metal plate to restrict airflow from wrong places

-Sleeved my PCI-e cables. Credits to: Razbit for helping me again

- Made a mid-plate

-Laced 6pin cables

-Bought a sleeved 24pin cable

-Made a BIGGER WINDOW

- Painted small intake meshes

- Painted the frostbite logo bolts

- Painted one fan

- Redone the mid-plate

 

It is now oc'ed to 4,5ghz with only 1,15v on vCore 

Some of you noticing that Bitfenix ghost doesn't have a window, so why the heck would someone put lights in there. The answer is that I have made a window to it, which i will propably make bigger at some point.

Nice! one question, how loud does your cooler get? I've got the h2o 920 in my rig and its stupid loud when the fans ramp up all the way.

Yea, i know that the noise is FREAKING loud when having that stock fan. I have changed them to bitfenix spectre fans and it is nice and quiet now. Those fans are also very cheap and good. Atleast in Finland they cost just under 7 euros a piece.

I have made this pc so that no fans ramp up when gaming. I don't like that sound when they do that so every fan is locked to one position so the sound doesn't annoy me. So yeah, you can byu quieter fans or try to put the stock fan into motherboards header and try to lock the speed where you want it.

All that blue lighting just washes everything out IMO .

Yea that is true, but it also washes out the ugly golden color of the motherboard... And the non sleeved cables also... But i like that blue, so many builds are done with red lights and i think that starts to be a little old fashion

Custom loop might be too much to my budget but i have been thinking of that midplate It wouldnt even be too hard to do hehe

I dislike red lighting too white would have been my choice but I suppose get what you mean about the gold on the motherboard since it's not always possible to get perfectly matching colour schemes on all components .

Yes and the Gigabyte gpu is very good performer in terms of cooling, but it has that awful blue pcb so this blue light kind of makes it not so awful Have to make these kinds of things if not enough money to get parts by looking at its color...

I have done some cablemanagement and took off the 5.25" bays + floppy bay. Some beatiful day i will make a better cover on the back, in the place of 5.25" from up to down.

[UPDATE]

 

Today my friend and I did a new logo to my pc. It is an etched aluminium peace with frostbite 3 logo on it. It is raised from the door and it has leds under it (Of course leds, it is me )

Today i did a minor mod. I made a little aluminium piece to cover those back ventilation holes. I did this because i want that air goes out just where i want it to go out and in this case from top and through the rad.

Sleeving would be SO cool, but i am not so sure about it just yet.
