[Bitfenix Ghost mod] -Personal build (Any ideas?)

looks cool , but may i sugest to use dark purple UV lights?

Thanks, and yes you can suggest ;) I am not sure how would they look like there... Sounds like i should try it out :D. But really, those lights look SO much sharper and clearer in RL it just gets very bad when using not so great camera :)

I decided to try out our digital camera... It takes the lights better, but the quality is even worse than my phone!

So there you can see things a little bit better(ly) lighted if you can say so :D

maybe try and take a pick where the leds dont light your camera up or the lense at least that may help a bit.

Wow extremely clean build can you imagine this build watercooled

Thanks that was nice to hear! :) And I have thought about watercooling it BUT there is that big BUT, which happens to be money. Custom loop costs so much compared to what else could i get with that amount of money. So yeah if i happen to get so much spare money :) It is not first on my list but damn would it look good :)

Today my friend and I sleeved my 6pin PCI-e cables. They look a lot better than without sleeving (as you could guess) :) Also he gave me a longer 8pin eps cable so that it can go behind the mobo- tray.

Also i hid some of that ugly cable of that back led strip.

Propably next thing I will do is to buy a pre- sleeved Bitfenix Alchemy 24pin extension because I am not willing to sleeve my 24pin right now...

That extension will make things pretty tight back behind the mobo tray but i hope it is worth it :D

Something i propably should do is to make a aluminium cover to the removed 5.25" bays because now they look a bit stupid.. :D

Some credits to Razbit: Check out his build log here

Yesterday and today I managed to build a mid-plate on top of my psu. It looks pretty cool i would say :)

Also i took that bottom fan out of there and put it in the front and now there are three fans as intake in front as well as three fans as exhaust.

Today i did another minor update and laced (or how you call it) the sleeved cables so that they are atleast in a little bit better order.

I mainly tried to follow Alpenwassers guide how to lace cables but he did it so much better :D

And yeah someday i will get that 24pin sleeved.

[Kind of an update?]

Yesterday i did a minor oc back to 4ghz and found out that adaptive voltage is awesome! Now it is only ~0,7v at idle and 1.04v on load, except for only benchmark programs like IBT that uses avx and then vcore is 1,104v, which isn't that bad either. My only question would be that is it ok for NB frequency to be left as it was, because before oc it went down to 800mhz when idle and now it is constantly 3.8ghz. Core lowers to 800mhz nicely, but nb doesn't... I am not sure if it is that bad thing or not. :D

Thanks!

And a small update, I tried lowering the voltage even more and now it is at ~1.024-1.03v and ran Prime for 8h, so i consider that as stable :)

Today my dad and i made a bigger window to my case. Now it is pure glass and looks so good in my eye :) It looks so sharp (does not look sharp in pictures :D) but you know that how corsair case windows look like, this is almost the same without the smoke effect.  Edges needs a little finishing touch and the window is finished :D

Yesterday i painted those small intake meshes with our Nissan Micra repair paint :D Now they fit in the color scheme nicely. It isn't that bright in real life because i took these pictures with the flashlight on.

Ahh now i would like to make a backplate to my gpu as there might not be any on the market for gigabyte 7870? I am not just sure what material it should be and how would i attach it to the card.

I have ordered Noctua NH-D14 in hope that it will make this pc even more silent. Currently i have this Antec Kuhler 620 and it makes that small rattling noise from the pump and i want to get rid of it. I think i will take the 140mm fan off of the D14 because i have heard that it makes some weird noises compared to 120mm fan. Anyways this is going to be really low noise pc soon :) I also just realized that my mobo supports Fan Xpert2 and it is AWESOME!!! No need for any T-Balancer or stuff like that. I can turn off the fans i want to at the temperature i want. COOL! :) Btw here is my 3dMark score i got today: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2185413

I got a new ssd for games and stuff for my bd (wich is today :D)  present :) It is nice to have enough ssd storage so you don't need to put stuff on the "klick klick klickety klick" drives :) It just starts to be pretty tight between the motherboard tray and the back sidepanel.

Nice! one question, how loud does your cooler get? I've got the h2o 920 in my rig and its stupid loud when the fans ramp up all the way.

I had The same Problem, i wouldnt run The fans off The pump, i put them on my second cpu fan header, Works way better. Pump + fans undervolted, everything Nice and quiet! :-)
