Note, I know PC gaming is far superior, but my windows is so broken I just don't want to mess with it anymore

I switched my brother over so I didn't get a call every other day to fix his pc...and now I ps4 with him mostly since my gaming time is limited.

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.

Can you not simply do a fresh OS install?

Clean install would do. Just download .ISO from MS website.

And it works surprisingly well in a sentence

well I thought so... I mean what else do I call it? Slumming it on playstation 4 so I don't have to do service calls?

If you are going to reinstall windows to the same PC which already was activated and log in with same MS account, your key will activate automaticly

The reset feature won't work

Then download the ISO, make a bootable USB and re-install Windows?

I have 2 friends who require me to remotely access their computer once a week for basically maintenance. I refuse to allow them to jump ship though.

I admit I've never actually had to freshly re-install Windows before, all I do know is I've been told it's really easy. I should probably do it for myself at some point just to know how. Would anyone have any advice for what steps to take?

Well I held out for 5+ years before I gave up. It just gets old after a while.
