Looking good man, however is that piping butt joint with silicone onto the pump in pic 5!?

Not quite,
the pump barb I/D is the exact same as the O/D of the tubing, so I used aquarium sealant (liberally) on the inside of the pump barb and on the outside to seal it.
How they are mounted they are a snug fit anyway and shouldn't come apart but I figure that prolonged pressure could dislodge ot and Aquarium sealant was what I had on hand.

Ahh, look,
Unfortunately I have to cancel Project Cheapass.

It was a good run while it ran but It was a little too dodgey for me to justify keeping it running over my legit PC.

on the plus side

WE PROVED IT IS POSSIBLE!!!! So hah, screw you if you told me it wouldn't work.
I watercooled a Poweredge 2950 server with dual xeons and 40GB RAM, Added a GPU to a server that DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTERNAL OUTPUT, Used resistors to silence the PSU and fans, Ran GPU power cables from the RAID card, did a whole bunch of stupid mods.

In the end it was the deterioration of the GPU risers and power cables over time that put me off. Don't get me wrong, if you're willing to shove an expensive PSU rider and some kevlar PCI-E power cables in it would be fine, but I'm not interested in spending that sort of money.

Thanks for your support, this is sloth out.
