Is this ram compatible?

Go to solution Solved by jooroth18,

No, the ram uses ddr3L but the mobo uses regular ddr3

So i bought a acer PC and i want to get a new motherboard and i was wondering if the ram would be compatible with the motherboard.

Do you have any suggestions of LGA1150 motherboards that would work?

Not sure, but the RAM page show this "Backward Compatible with 1.5V DDR3 Memory Module "

Wouldn't take the risk. some motherboards are very picky (no better terminology) with ram.

id research and see if the mobo can use low voltage RAM first. if the board says it can only use 1.5v DIMMs then dont put it in since the board will have to overvolt the memory.if it says it can support 1.35v DIMMs then dont mix and match 1.35v DIMMs with 1.5v DIMMs when you are putting the ram in there
