New Mobo for Gaming

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a new mobo that will work well with Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory and a Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

What are your thoughts on the Asus MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Are there other maybe less expensive options that have only a marginal difference in performance? Should I consider a X99 board? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks. Do you know if the z170-pro would be much better for gaming the the z170-a?

All motherboard will perform the same and make do difference to gameplay
