Master/Slave switch

the slave BIOS supports more aggressive voltage and power overclocking, so it can be used for higher but generally unsafe overclocks. if the card fails to boot up you can just switch to the master BIOS. the slave BIOS can also be used to flash a custom BIOS, but the master BIOS is always preserved.

Master and Slave are two different BIOSes installed to the card at the factory. The Slave BIOS probably has a higher power target and no zero fan mode because overclocking.

You switch it when the PC is shut off. So if it's on master, power down and switch to slave and you should be set.

The Slave BIOS for a pascal card does not yield additional volts.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example.
