Is the GTX 1060 STRIX really worth it?

xGGAx

Im about to buy a gtx 1060 for my current rig and I have two options:

Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 gaming or the Asus gtx 1060 Strix. Both are about the same price (the strix is like $10 more), but I read the gigabyte has some issues in OC mode. The strix looks better thats for sure but how about performance and features? also, anyone care to post a picture of the strix card installed?

Go with whatever takes your fancy. I've learned since my first build to always take what i want despite what others say, never regretted since.

Performance and features is pretty much the same.

I would go with asus because of the looks, and the cooler is good and quiet.

I personally ignore all that gimmick OCmode / quiet mode BS and just use my own profiles and set temp/power targets, works infinitely better, At that point it just comes down to vendor
