Need help with orientation of various fan bearings!

Mounting: Fluid fans can be mounted in any direction without hiccup.

I'm about to add two more case fans (most likely the fractal design venturi hf-140 fans) to my nzxt s340 case and I heard that the orientation of a certain fan bearing could reduce its longevity and amongst other problems too. So my question is what position/orientation should I put my fluid dynamic bearing venturi hf-140 fans in and is there a guide for this kind of stuff? Thanks in advance for your guys' response!

Greetings,

If I understand you correctly. Your concern is which of two orientations to place the fan in:
hub "in" or hub "out".
I would not concern myself with longevity in this situation, rather with airflow.

Linus has an explanation on case fans here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc9c8LFY1bg

It is a great explanation on how fans work in general, and will introduce you to the concepts of positive and negative case pressure, as well as airflow direction.

TL:DW -> your fans can push or pull air. your case should have non-turbulent (conflicting, weird) airflow. Generally coming in through one end and coming out the other. Then, you can concern yourself with HOW MUCH air comes in our out. This comes down to positive and negative pressure:

Cheers and good luck.

No I meant mounting the fluid dynamic bearing horizontally or vertically because I heard if you orientate it the wrong way it'll hurt the life span and other things too.
