Cant connect to wifi in kali linux

Hey guys, newbie in here.

 

does anyone knows how to enable wifi network in kali linux? somehow i messed up the network installation and didnt have wlan0 up. well i tried to restart it then i got wlan0 and wlan1, now im confused.

Internet connection through cable is fine.

 

its been 2 days.

help :(

Are you running on a VM?

If it's your host OS, are you using a wifi adapter? If you are, does it support Linux for it's drivers?

i managed somehow, now i didn't have any network available. even with FN+F4 in my case to enable the wifi toggle.
