freeze My newly selfbuilt pc keeps freezing :( does anyone know the problem?

I recently built my own pc! It was very fun, but when i started it up and started playing games like csgo and run teamspeak at the same time my pc would just freeze and i can't do anything but move my mouse. So it forces me to cut off the power and shut it down. Sometimes it freezes after an hour or two of gaming and sometimes immediately when it boots up.

I first thought the ram was broken so i did a Memtest86, but no errors showed up

Specs:
CPU: Core i5-6500
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060
MOBO: Gigabyte H170M-D3H
RAM: 2x8GB Corsair vengeance ram
PSU: Sharkoon 600W Bronze
SSD: 256 GB adata SSD
Case: Corsair 100R

Does anyone know what might be the problem, because it really bothers me?

I know this sounds a bit far out, but do you have a pirated version of Windows or something?

If yes, well there ya go

If no, then try reinstalling it (kind of a pain the ass, but could be the issue)

No, when I run multiple programms at the same time it will freeze, but sometimes also when i just click on my browser while nothing else is running

i installed it from the microsoft website, so i dont think it is a pirated version

Try resetting Windows or try reinstalling it. If that doesnt work, maybe its related to the power supply like someone above said, that power supply sounds extremely dodgy in all fairness.

Its either a ram or psu problem

or maybe a heat problem?

if I found the right one it's a 30amp power supply. not good enough.

These are the consequences of cheaping out on a PSU.

If you have a different PSU I would try that.  I've never heard of Sharkoon and apparently it's bottom of the barrel after a quick google search.  Even if that doesn't fix your issue, I would look into replacing it.

 

You can also try chkdsk to see if it's a hard drive issue.  I really don't think it's HDD or RAM though.

I am sick of stupid people like you on the forum, always miselading people. I recently had an issue when my pc was not turning on for which everyone was blaming my local branded PSU (we had some eletrical issues in our house since few days when that happened). Even after changing the psu it didn't work then i swapped back my original PSU and it somehow worked few days after our grounding got fixed (still don't know what caused it though).

 

In this case, i suspect it could be a faulty hardware too.

You should always have a spare PSU on hand for testing these kind of things (not an expensive one, just one that you know works).  I say that because I've seen PSUs cause the weirdest kind of issues.  One time changing a PSU fixed poor gaming performance on a friends system, and I honestly thought it looked like thermal throttling.

 

Some are definitely quick to point to a bad PSU, but for good reason I believe.  Replacing a PSU should be the last thing you try though (or any option involving spending money).  But it may save somebody from RMAing their mobo, ssd, or ram.

Also, Sharkoon (lol) apparently has faked the 80+ cert.  IDK if it's true but I'd believe it.

Pricing of Electronics by Foreign Brands in India (mainly American ones) is quite ridiculous. That's why i buy alot of local branded stuff as that's the best i can afford and most of the time it works out well.

My basic moral compass on these things is: cheap psu for cheap pc.  Don't put a cheap psu in an expensive pc.

 

For the OP, he obviously has mismatched his PSU with his PC.
