My First Build *need assistance

1. Budget : ~ 1300USD

 Location: Bangalore, India

2.AIM:

  • Graphic design,
  • light video editing(mostly at 1080res)
  • Gaming: GTA5, witcher3, shadow of mordor, no man's sky etc. (only at 1080)

3. MONITORS: I'll be only setting up 1 1080p monitor

4. PERIPHERALS: I already have those

5. REASON FOR UPGRADE: So I currently own a Lenovo y5070 laptop with i7 4710HQ GTX860M 16GB ram running a 1080pannel. Its a decent gaming and productivity machine. I am quite satisfied with the laptop in terms of on the go processing power but for dedicated gaming station which can handle latest titles plus a good screen to work on when I am designing, I'd want that machine to take care of all the work load without breaking a sweat.

I HAVE ALREADY CREATED A LIST AT PARTPICKER.COM

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tRGntJ

Can you guys suggest me if this list works or if it needs any changes?

Thanks man.
This list looks really tempting with that i7 but down side is that this processor is really expensive in India and get out of budget :/. Similar case with the 850-evo. I just hate it

How much more expensive is it than the i5? You could order from an EU country like Germany.

it comes upto 120USD costlier than i5 6500. And getting it shipped from EU makes no difference. It again gets costlier than here 9_9
Unless someone is coming from US and can bring it with them. Which is not happening anytime soon

1300$ = ₹87,000

if you live in banglore than there must be places where u can buy pc parts .... offline stores usually have much better price than online.

If you want a ips panel then 22 inch lg ips monitor will cost abput 9k and 24inch about 12-13k.

considering u went with later u are left with ₹74,000

this should be a good build for this

1)i7 6700 ( will help in video editing) 23k but can get for about 22k .

2) b150 motherboard ( will have 4 ram slots) 8k

3)gtx 1060 6GB around 24k

4) ram 8Gb about 3.2k (upgrade in future if you want)

5)psu any good 450-500w will be fine 6k try to get seasonic ones.

6) hard disk wd blue 1tb .... 3.5k

7) Ssd - 240gb whichever you can find under ₹4,500 try for the zotac one that's pretty good.

8) case that's your preference.

and everything will come under 74k quite easily.

Good luck building your pc.
