Can't Log In After Sleeping?

ohdatpro

So, for whatever reason I cannot utilize my password after waking my computer up from induced sleep mode after X amount of time from being away from the computer. I input the password and either press enter or click the login arrow to login, but nothing happens. No task wheel, nothing. I have to shut down and turn on my machine, not simply restart it. I have no idea as to what is going on and would appreciate some input. My OS is Windows 10.

Maybe it's too tired to get up, and just wants 5 more minutes before getting up?

Is it asking for PIN or password? There are certain times when it'll ask for one over the other.

it is asking for my password as per usual, but there is literally zero feedback once I press enter or click the login arrow. If I logon to the other accounts on this machine, it acts as if it's logging into an account, but ends up right back onto the login window. Very strange.
