Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti Price?

Mince

Hello fellow forum members,

I am relatively new to the whole PC world. My brother has graciously given me his old rig which he no longer uses. One of the main items in the rig I would like to upgrade is the GPU. Currently the GPU is a good, but out of date Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti. Ideally I would like to sell this current GPU and buy a newer, more suited GPU for running games at 60 FPS at 4k. This has really been an issue for me as I am unable to find the price for this GPU anywhere! I can find EVGA, PNY, ASUS, and GIGABYTE 780 Ti's, but nowhere can I find the regular Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti's price.

Apologies if I use any incorrect terminology and/or misleading information, as I said, I am relatively new to the PC world.

Thank you,

- Mince

The 780Ti is pretty old, so that's not surprising. I would sell it at 180 dollars or so, I don't think that's enough to get something that can run 4K 60 fps since there isn't any single GPU that can (at least in ultra settings).

GTX 780 ti you can sell for around 160-200 euros depending on all the factors that are around gpus.

Thats 170-220$. If its a reference model i would aim lower, if its the more high end 780ti i would aim for the higher :)

I don't think there will be a person to buy 780 ti at a price over $200.

And even if the card is pretty "old" its still a beast of a GPU :) can run anything on 1080p on ultra.

Thank you all for the quick replies!

Just to clarify I have more money than just what I get from selling the graphics card. I really appreciate the help.

970ish performance... It's OK, but not something spectacular...

Yeah, it has been able to run anything I throw at it, just wanted to move towards 4k.

Seeing as I got it for free from my brother, I'm not complaining. :)

They sell for $160ish online. The card isn't bad and it's still capable of running modern games. You will have to spend $700+ to run 60fps 4k. Just go with a nice 1440p setup and you're golden.

I have been contemplating going for 1440p, and after looking into it, it seems like it might be better, and cheaper to do as of right now. Thank you for your insight, I value it greatly.

There just isn't anything special about 4k gaming and a nice 144hz 1440p setup is just better in every way.

Yeah seems like a more reasonable resolution nowadays. What's your CPU? I would get a 1070 at the least, but ideally a 1080.
