Anti-Shock Insulation for Motherboard?

SagarTechTips
Go to solution Solved by QFA350,

put a piece of clear acrylic over all of the components with enough room for airflow. You can mount this with tall standoffs.

I wanted to make a similar build to this, except that I don't have enough money to buy the ASUS Sabertooth

On top of that, all the motherboards that I can find in my country have NO thermal armor. So what will I do so that I don't shock myself on the motherboard? How do I insulate it?

You know that thermal armor shit doesn't protect against static electricity/touching electrical components right?

lol

Though it seems that all of their more recent motherboards (or the majority of them past the H87M Pro ) all have built in ESD protection (not sure how well it works). Can't really say for sure how well it works though, the way I've treated motherboards from the late 90's and ESD hasn't even damaged them yet....
