What happened to my game?

So I was going to play a game but when I started up csgo I was only getting 30 fps compared to the 100+ I usually get. The movement was really slow. The only thing it could be is an update my laptop just did. It was a pretty large update, took a while. I also opened up rocket league to see if it was just csgo. Rocket league worked just fine. I have no idea what to do and I just wanna play. I'm using an MSI ge62 2qd apache pro if that helps.

Check the power settings of your Laptop. And also Vsync is a thing.Turn Vsync on->Save->Turn Vsync Off->Save.

I fixed it for him guys. He had game dvr on for xbox app
