looking for a decent/good camera with lens around 700 euro(~800 dollar)

malon

So ive been looking for a camera since my current camera still uses film and i have no local place to get those devoloped anymore. (Rip that one small business at my town Q2 2016)

don't realy know if 700 euro is a decent budget  to get a proper camera with a decent lens( maybe a bundle or somthing).

Its not for any profesional/hobby use but more of a, i want to see if it is somthing for me, and if it is not i still have a nice camera for vacations,

also it will automaticly double as a camera for my mother who runs a daycare for kids and the parrent of those kids love to get pictures and video of their kids at her place every now and then,

photos will be the main thing what it will be used for and video at 1080p  would be nice but not realy my focus.

I realy could use suggestions since my experience with digital cameras is very little, i also have set aside another 150 for eventual accesories.

thanks in advance

700 Euros (plus the extra 150) is a pretty good budget to get an entry level camera with a kit lens and perhaps one other, or additional accessories like spare batteries, memory cards, camera bag, etc.

You can choose from Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic... all good brands.  I'm particularly partial to Nikon cameras when it comes to photography, but these days all manufacturers make good cameras.  Just pick your preference.  Just know that video recording using a photo camera is a bit more work than video recording with a camcorder.

What film camera do you have? bear in mind it might be possible to continue using those lenses, might be a stop gap so you can save up for glass

My parents bought a Nikon D3200 for about 400-something, if I recall correctly. It's a well-regarded camera by many, from what I hear, but the lens it comes with has terrible performance in low light, so you should invest something in an additional lens for taking pictures inside. Take this post with a grain of salt, though: I have absolutely no experiences with cameras whatsoever.
