I think you have your choice already with the P650RS. Just make the changes to the CPU and storage and maybe source your own OS and you might end up within the same budget. I'ma see if I can find a similar thing on Mythlogic or HID though and be within budget. If Eurocom were cheaper, you could probably get from there, because that have a 10% off for students... but they likely would be still as expensive.

So something like this?

Because it is, xD. It's simply stronger than the last gen. And everybody is jumping straight on it, but that's it.

I'm really annoyed that nobody is criticizing pascal except tht one AMD lover on youtube.

But I don't want AMD lovers to do it. I want impartial people.

TBH I would rather have the 14 inch clevo with a 970m right now than any pascal laptop... They just seem to have so many problems and be so expensive and a GTX would also not do anything for me xD

But yeah nobody really bash Nvidia for this gen other than some few small people like us and some AMD fanboy youtubers and it is sad

After searching the web a lot, and it seems that from what I've seen that ASUS has really stepped up their game in the past year when it comes to customer service and general QC. I could be wrong, but that really seems to be the case. Notebookcheck gave the last iteration of the 15.6" ASUS model very good reviews on most fronts, including cooling. If ASUS really is that bad then I will go with a Clevo model (probably from SAGER, then flash premo) or possibly an MSI once I do some more research.

No guarantee Prema mods will be free to acquire and flash, hence why we recommend to you a Prema partner site.

I tried asking them what screen they used on their last year top end model. I gave the specific model name. They needed me to BUY ONE then check the serial number to load up on their database and tell me what screen it had. Please note, they only sold the machine with one screen.

I use the numpad for hotkeys. Mine is filled out.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

That's quite disappointing, cause that model is pretty much exactly what I wanted in a new laptop :P

But alas, does MSI have the super terrible CS and QC like ASUS? Or are they an option?

So, as of now I think I am going to be going with the NP8153-S from Sager in the following configuration:

- 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Processor ( 6MB Smart Cache, 2.60GHz)
- 15.6" 4K QFHD Matte Display with G-SYNC Technology (3840 x 2160) Back Order! (ETA: 08/30/2016) [+$100.00]
- Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels for first 30 days of purchasing
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 GPU with 8GB GDDR5 Video Memory
- IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU
- Windows® 10 Home 64-Bit Edition Preinstalled
- 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 SDRAM at 2400MHz - 2 X 16GB [+$125.00]
- RAID-1 Storage ( Data Mirror - Requires 2 identical drives )
- 256GB SanDisk X400 M.2 SSD (as Storage Drive)
- 256GB SanDisk X400 M.2 SSD in RAID configuration [+$100.00]
- None [-$40.00]
- Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 M.2 AC Wireless LAN + Bluetooth Module

Which comes to a grand total of: $2,034.00

Or the MSI Phantom PRO-006 in the following configuration:

http://www.xoticpc.com/shared_product/index/configure/id/19422/

Which comes to a grand total of: $2,068.00

in the following configuration:

http://www.xoticpc.com/shared_product/index/configure/id/19424/

Which comes to a grand total of: $2,074.83

The first option is a sort of balance between performance and size, while the second puts more of the emphasis on size, and the third is all performance. Let me know what your guys' thoughts are.

1 or 3 depending on your use case. Try to get it configured at http://www.hidevolution.com/ unless there is a truly massive price difference.
