Freenas server- Plugins not working, possibly network settings problem

Uncheck the IPv4 box

Yep, choose advanced, untick DHCP and enter an IP address, gateway and DNS servers.

IPv4 address: 192.168.0.101

 

Gateway: ipconfig on my PC (default gateway)

I'm doing it from memory, do you have space to enter a DNS server? If so then enter the same value as your router (default gateway) and if not then don't worry about it.

just the individual jail settings right?

if so, there isn't a space for DNS

Should be OK then, try restarting/starting the jail now and make sure you can access it.

nevermind, I guess I had to stop all the other plugins first. I will try with the other plugins now

Not quite, my Freenas system also disconnects in my web browser for some weird reason

 

Even the Plex server disconnected...

The Freenas UI is extremely slow, then it suddenly disconnects, no access to Freenas.

Try setting a static address then, again above .100 and unique. Set your nameservers to your router and gateway to router (basically as pictured in network summary but copy them across.)

DNS is least important but you can use your gateway address for this so 192.168.0.1

try doing a constant ping test to it. with command prompt ping -t 192.168.0.11 or w/e the address is (Control+c to stop). 

see if it stops. you can also do this with plex jail to make sure it is staying up.

Just tried it out for 192.168.0.11. I will try pinging to the my jail's IP.
