I'm actually not sure. Yes it's designed to make you click, but it's not objectively untrue (although calling them dead is very much hyperbole)

I feel like laptop manufacturers will get some deals with Nvidia on their graphics cards, and laptops will become a steal over building a desktop.

Considering my old laptop has a heavily underclocked desktop HD5670 for its GPU, and the fact that in some games I could run it at 700MHz and close to its desktop clocks....

Lenovo B50 with a 750 Ti. Total would be about 500-600 dollars and for the time was pretty badass.

Well if you add in the price of a webcam, keyboard mouse, and screen the performance per dollar gap closes signifigantly.  Again we still don't know the price.  Hopefully a 1060 in a laptop won't be more than 1300-1400.
