Curved monitors on the side??

DoubleWz

Hello, Im looking for some new monitors to add to my setup and i quite like the idea of having 2 curved 24" monitors on the sides. Would Samsung LS24E500CS 24 make a nice surround setup?

Yep, just don't expect to be running games with surround enabled.

3x ultra wide would be more pixels then 4K...

yeah so? If he's got a 980 or better he could probably run most games at okay framerates. Not 60fps but still.

I personally would rather run games on max settings 60fps rather than low settings 30 fps.

Not even low settings. Just 2x msaa and a mix of medium and high stuff. A 970 runs 3 surround perfectly fine on high settings. 3 ultrawide monitors is roughly the same as if I had 4 1080 monitors in surround. It won't make much more of a dent.

I don't know if we have different 970s, but my overclocked 970 can hardly maintain 60fps maxed out on a single 1080p ultrawide display.

I said high. Are we talking a 1440 ultra-wide or 1080?

i already got a 1080p 144hz in the middle and i was wondering if 2 24 inch curved monitors would be nice to make a triple monitor setup.

I wouldn't use all three monitors for one game personally because it doesnt seem appealing to me id rather use one for browsing and the other for music and media. However if you have a 1080 (gtx gpu) it should be no problem at all. 980 on the other hand that i have, i run dual monitors with it, and its not too stressful so you should be okay, but expect Spending much more time mixing the settings up till youre over 144 fps (unless the other two monitors are not 144hz than u can only utilize the lowest hz without wierd issues)
