I got Corsair RM750X replacing my Seasonic that burned and flames.

Will power i7 6800k, RX 480 and 4 SSD 960GB Crucial.

I feel good about my purchase.

I mean, your purchase is your own.

I like to think the video was more targeted towards the people who make recommendations (us) than the those who buy gear for themselves.

But as an example, today you could buy the stellar Rosewill Quark 550W for $54.99, whereas RM750xs retail for $100

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I am planning to build a PC w/ i7-6700K and GTX 1070. I already bought Cooler Master v650. I think I should have bought 850 watt power supply because I did not account for overclocking and I might buy another 1070 in the future but I don't know.

I think what Luke meant by saying buy a good power supply is that a power supply w/ good build quality. I agree that higher wattage does not make sense up until some point. But cooler master psu calculator screen did not have the cpu overclocked so I think it could be misleading.
