Denuvo has been cracked with both DOOM and Rise of the Tomb Raider already becoming available online with a functional bypass for Denuvo's anti-tampering technology. 

This crack has been created by a Bulgarian hacker called Voksi, who has already released cracked versions of both DOOM and Rise of the Tomb Raider, allowing the games to be run illegally. The cracker is currently working on a crack fo Just Cause 3 and several other recent Denuvo titles. 

This crack exploits a bug in Steam which allows users to play the full game while Steam thinks that the game is a free demo version, though at this time we do not know exactly how this "crack" functions.

Thoughts? That took them an awfully long time. I'm wondering what denovu is going to say about this.

yes it did but the people who are behind Denuvo were previously also crackers thus they know how this game works

I tend to agree however after a point either dev or cracker has to ask themselves is it really worth it. people who get crack software never intended to buy the software anyway. No one "really" loses.

hang on i want to correct you there. some people download cracked games to just try them out and if there any fun and if they are they will buy them. also i delief DRM should be banned its pointless and a hassle to the consumer something that CD PROJEKT RED and TotalBiscuit and a lot of other people have pointed out

What i meant was peopel that crack tend to not ever have the intention to pay and the popel that do crack and them pay for it means that when i said "no one really loses" still is correct. Though I understand from a company point of view if you want to use a product you should pay for the product.

indeed but can't it be done in some other way than to have 24/7 internet access. I know that i have it but a lot of people don't have this and this will make games like hitman completely unplayable(I know that this is a extreme example) and pissing a lot off people off but i did i even start about how some DRM solutions clog up system resouces?

Interesting. As I recall the older versions of Denuvo have workarounds vs actual cracks as well. I would advise against anyone doing this on a Steam account they care about. I rather doubt that Valve is going to sit idly by while Steam is used as part of the work around.

I came here to rage about the misleading title, good thing you were here before. Anyways crack!=bypass and denuvo's fix for it is pretty easy from what I read on reddit.

According to Scene rules Denuvo has not been cracked, it's been bypassed which doesn't count as a crack.

would be funny if those games now had a sudden sales spike. not that they would ever release those numbers. but i don´t buy a game without a chance to test it. doom i bought because it had a demo witch is so rare these days. but if that demo can now be used to allow pirating they will be even more rare.
