My problem also appears on the Nintendo Switch, even in handheld mode.

Iv had this problem for nearly 5 months now. I just cant understand it iv run out of all ideas. I first noticed this on my Ps4 while playing on Horizon Zero Dawn. The game looked fine one night then the next morning something looked diffrent i couldnt figure out what it was. Then when i started moving every straight line in the game was jagged and looks like its got shimmering white lines moving across it.

 

So i went and booted up my pc to check on the problem and noticed my Recycle bin was also jagged at the top. So next i thought damn it must be my monitor thats only 3 months old. When into monitor settings and saw the text is all jagged also. When and factory reset the monitor and notice now the damn Asus logo on boot up is really jagged its now made up of zigzags and i remember it was definetly smooth before this crap started happening.

 

Next  i thought right monitors buggered so hooked everything up to my Smart Tv. Well that didnt help the tv had this happening also. I know its not my Ps4 or Pc because this crap is happening on normal tv programs ( Virgin Media ) especially all the kids channels my daughter watches that are made using computers ,normal tv programs that use real life actors seem unaffected.

I went upstairs to check on my sons Xboxone and its also happeneing upstairs to on their tv. Just as bad as my Ps4 /Pc downstairs. Now as off last week my windows phone and samsung tablet have also been affected. The crazy part of this that i cant get my head around is My daughters Tv And my Tv in our bedrooms are also the same and have never been conected to the internet. My daughters tv cant even connect to the internet ,its happening when she watchs normal dvds in her room.

 

Some people tell me its we must have bad electric voltage or something but how can my phone and tablet be affected so.

Also as of today when i get to the windows 10 user password screen the time and date now look really distorted like its melted like a candle .

 

Heres a list off all the stuff i have thats been effected    PS4 - Xboxone - Asus Monitor - Pc - I5 2500K MSI 1060 GTX - Panasonic Smart Tv - 4 other tvs upstairs - Windows Phone- And finally Samsung galaxy Tab S .

 

Hope this helps ,i have run out of idea's changed nearly every cable / hdmi in entire house nothing has worked it defies all logic whatever this is >:(

What you say confirms that it is probably an electrical problem (bad tension ...) because the concern is present on all platforms

That's not the same problem. That's just the graphics being turned down to save on battery life. Instead of 4X MSAA it's like 2X or doesn't exist.

I don't know how to fix it, I bought an UPS stabilizer on which I connected my TV and my ps3 but it did nothing solved.  For me the only solution is to change house because I think the whole electrical system is infected (sorry for my bad english).

I went upstairs to check on my sons Xboxone and its also happeneing upstairs to on their tv. Just as bad as my Ps4 /Pc downstairs. Now as off last week my windows phone and samsung tablet have also been affected. The crazy part of this that i cant get my head around is My daughters Tv And my Tv in our bedrooms are also the same and have never been conected to the internet. My daughters tv cant even connect to the internet ,its happening when she watchs normal dvds in her room.

 

Some people tell me its we must have bad electric voltage or something but how can my phone and tablet be affected so.

Also as of today when i get to the windows 10 user password screen the time and date now look really distorted like its melted like a candle .

 

Heres a list off all the stuff i have thats been effected    PS4 - Xboxone - Asus Monitor - Pc - I5 2500K MSI 1060 GTX - Panasonic Smart Tv - 4 other tvs upstairs - Windows Phone- And finally Samsung galaxy Tab S .

 

Hope this helps ,i have run out of idea's changed nearly every cable / hdmi in entire house nothing has worked it defies all logic whatever this is >:(

One thing:

Someone with an i7 4790K changed for 1700x.

He noticed troubles like ours were gone.

So, it can be: MB, CPU, RAM.

For my case:

-tested with two intel CPU: I5 3570K and i7 4790K
-I5 got two differents MB, and was tested with 4x4GB RAM and 2x8GB RAM.
-i7 is new, MB too, and i kept the 2x8GB RAM.

I tested FIVE differents GPU other 3 years: GTX660, R9 290X, R9 390X for i5 and R9 390x, r7 270 (because 390x was back to seller) and RX 580 LE from SAPPHIRE.
All GPU got same trouble.

I tested lot of screen. Last tested was my TV, since, i notice this crap thing even during TV session (don't know if i'm now too much on this bug and i'm able to see it everywhere).

Tested: Old plasma HD TV, VGA screen, AOC 1080P, my 1080P 3D TV. Tested: HDMI, Display porte, VGA <--- and with at least 2 cables for each parts!

I changed all the computer but the SSD. When i say all, it is all parts + wires/cables (intern and extern) + tower (base?) + fans. So all is new in the computer.

I tested isolation on the MB (between MB and case).

I changed house 4 times. So for electrical, i changed more than 800KM.

I have always some protection for computer, to avoid "surtention" (sorry i'm french, too much electricity going into the computer?)

New PSU is a corsaire platinum, with all kind of protection for electrical anomalies.

I reinstaled computer undred of times. Did not test another thing than win 10 64. But all i read about other system is a fail attempt.


SO:

Right now, the ONLY guy who get ride of this is the one changing for 1700X.

It rly could be smth with cpu, bc Elijah also said smth about that the issue is probably related to the Northbridge and since this is controlled by the CPU , it might be that new new RX cpu does smth different or better idk.

 

So this for now is probably the best thing u can try, but remember that u also need a compatible mainboard.

BTW.

Just reinstled windows, was playing crossout before ( new game in beta).

Since reinstal, jaggy everywhere... I was happy to fing a game without this bug, and it is back, F..k it!

OMG this drives me mad...

I had obsolute 0 trouble on Crossout, then Avast uninstal broke windows at launch, made a repair, keeping my files.

All drivers are same... but, games works bad now.

Intel asked me to make lot of test: 0 error reported.

They don't know how to help me.

They offered to change my CPU, i said no, i'm not here to make other lose their time and money.


So, my last chance: find a way to test the computer with a Ryzen and CM+RAM... I will try.

The north ridge doesn't exist anymore. That's all on the CPU. We just have a PCH now days. Same with AMD and their south bridge.

I have this bug on i7 4790K and i had i5 3570K before. EDIT: i5 got the bug too, i changed for the i7, with no result, wanted to go on Ryzen but i was short in money to do so... :(

BuckGup got an I7 6800K

The reason i suspect intel is the one given by the moderator (he find it also, thx to him).

BTW last intel answer was agressive, they want "proof" this is their CPU the problem...
