The internet problem is still there...

And i download and installed a torrent game when all this started

That is packet loss.  Usually a line quality problem or a buffer bloat problem.

I also suffer from bufferbloat. Could it be that whatever is affecting the GPU might be affecting the network adapter as well?

Its likely a combination of things.  LCD quality, driver settings, monitor settings (default for cheap monitors includes sharpening filters), driver optimization gone wrong, overlay problems, "optimizer" apps, custom config file mods... the list goes on for quite awhile.

 

The thing with phones, I will dismiss.  If any phone has been refurbished with a new screen, the screen quality can be brought into question.  Same problem with automatic updates on phones and PCs, you dont really know the software state of the system without doing a ton of work to isolate the device from the internet.

 

The whole point of doing controlled tests while changing as few things as possible is to isolate the cause and nail it down to provide a real solution.  I have tons of hardware/software, but IDK what you guys are seeing that isnt really normal and any suggestion for testing I make tends to be dismissed in favor of something like "I KNOW ITS MY ELECTRICITY."

No, just get a router that does QoS, or flash a router with OpenWRT, and configure the router not to exceed your internet connections bandwidth.

 

Bufferbloat is an ISP problem, not a problem with your equipment.

Disabling clear type makes fonts look bad, really bad.

 

Also, that image is either re-sized or they are using sub 100% scaling to shrink the size of things on a low res screen.

No, "War Thunder" says packet loss is 0% most of the time.

Sometimes it goes up to 4% but only for short periods of time...

 

What's buffer bloat?

ANY packet loss will cause rubber-banding and lag, it means that your computer is not receiving some of the real-time game data.  This is far worse for gameplay than a high ping.  In some cases, there is no fix, its just your ISP having trash quality connections and lines.

LOL no.  Bufferbloat is what happens when you max out your upload and your download goes to shit.  I maintain a network with 5-6 active heavy bandwidth users, and boat is a very real problem.  Its only a non-issue if you are the only person with the only device connected to your internet connection.

 

You do not need a special router to fix it either, literally anything recent has QoS settings of some kind.  I go a bit further and run a Linux based router (this can even be a trashy old PC) with lots of tuning to reduce the BB impact because of our high network traffic.

@KarathKasun if is this software problem how the installation of new operating system don't delete "bad software" from our's PC?

I mean how can migrate to another operating system.

Installation of new operating system is like resetting PC to default configuration.

Depends on what you are installing TBQH.  I dont intall anything from driver CDs/DVDs and I dont install any "feature applications".  I dont run 3rd party AV anymore either for that matter, because they are mostly scams at this point.  For a gaming PC I install Windows, Steam, latest GPU/Audio drivers, FF or Chrome, and nothing else.

I tried a Windows reinstall. Formatted my SSD. After installing Win and GPU drivers, I installed Uplay and AC3 first, I wanted to test a game before before installing any other app or feature. The problem was still present.

Hey since you are a well experienced person, maybe you can explain how this problem basically transfers itsself to different systems even on isolated ones, i mean litereally the only thing it was connected too was my router.

Monitors have internal image filtering which have settings that are saved internally.  The monitor also has a two way digital communications bus between it and the GPU that could theoretically be exploited.

 

Gaming keyboards and mice can have macro/settings memory that can be exploited.

 

HDD/SSD have firmware that can be exploited.

 

GPUs have firmware that can be exploited.

 

Motherboards have firmware that can be exploited.

so in theory i could basically buy everything new.... xD what about the router?

I doubt though that is is a virus since i got it on my PS4 aswell.

Some information for everyone here i just tried a differend notebook i had, not connected to the grid in over a year and it still has this without any internet connection, to give some context i use a LAN Network so no WLAN and didnt connect it still the same result i think this should rule out some of the more obvious options.

If your PS4 is doing it, its more than likely you just noticing a problem that has always been there but you have overlooked in the past.

 

PS4 graphics look like garbage, and always have.  It does not have the GPU horsepower to run 1080p with high AA.

Its the same though on PC and i am primarly a PC player, besides that i got some people that told me they dont have the same issues on there consoles.

Then its your TV/monitor, its scaler has a sharpening filter enabled.

 

On most TVs and Monitors I have seen, sharpness needs to be at zero for 1:1 pixel mapping.

Well, time to join the club I guess. The problem started overnight on my Acer nitro laptop. Tried every method in the book and nothing worked. I sent it back and forth to Acer over a course of 7 months to no avail. I then saved my money and got an Alienware 15 r4 laptop and it’s STILL there. Like, why hasn’t anyone found a fix? It’s like nobody cares about it at all.

Unfortunatly no i got this on 2 TVs and 2 Monitors changing settings including sharpness didnt do anything besides it never was like this before.
