No it's not because i tried with integrated gpu and results were same (blur/jaggy text). One other thing i noticed is that It seems to change everyday, i am talking about intensity of jaggyness/blur.

Check what resolution you are running at in BIOS.  Your monitor should tell you in the info page of the OSD.

Sorry i edited my post. But changing in intensity of this issue with time clears that the bios is not the culprit.

You might be right but considering Harsh45 tested many different rigs again explains it not being VBIOS. I don't have any proper camera. I'll try gathering some pics of it with my phone but sometimes the blur is less for me when i plug it through a stabilizer and sometimes when i plug it without stabilizer it does not get intense. It's really odd that my Neutral-Earth voltage also vary between 15v to 75v each day, atleast it's not as bad as i used to have 220v that is. I am not jumping to conclusion because i myself don't know what's causing it but that's my observation.

Hey guys!

 

Problem is back! (didn't read all your posts yet since my last one yet)

It came back as soon as I installed a new game.

Now everything is botched again.

Losing my temper here.

 

How can it be power if an installation of a new game triggers it?

Sounds like a virus that triggers on a change of some software.

And it always comes back!

 

I wanna stress some facts here:

- In Transport fever I got flying objects

- in Total War Warhammer I can't zoom in as much as before

These either seem like game related problems with the (not being able to zoom in enough).  Not sure what you mean by flying objects,  maybe you could elaborate more on what these look like.  

One more thing is what do you mean by “The problem is back”?  Did you do something that fixed the problem or what?

 

I posted a comparison video on the Nvidia forum,  well 2 vids,  1 of FC5 PC and 1 of FC5 Xbox One X.  The console version looks much much better,  the only problem is that the quality of the videos may not be as good as it should be.

I may record some new footage tomorrow.  Let me know what you guys think..

The PC version looks better and it looks perfectly normal.

I wanna stress some facts here:

- In Transport fever I got flying objects

- in Total War Warhammer I can't zoom in as much as before

Did you get flickering AA, shimmering shadows etc? Is it only in games? Keep in mind sometimes when it start you could be doing anything on your PC and you might think what you were doing caused it but that might not be the case. Also I have bought a Power meter and i have noticed that PC pulls power variably. It's not constant whenever PC running.  What are the symptoms you are noticing from these:

 

Blur/Jaggy text in bios
Blur/Jaggy text in windows and everywhere else
Increased brightness overall, washed out colours
In extreme cases shimmering/flickering edges even in videos watched on youtube and other places
Something wrong with visual aspect of everything like some kind of filter over everything not only in games
In games extreme flickering/shimmering unlike case 1 which has less flickering
In games Shadows flicker
In games Jagged AA
In games low LOD. In GTA V some kind of invisible bubble around the character
In games some kind of blur

In games anisotropic filtering seems not to be working properly
Vsync and every other setting in games or in NVCP has no affect whatsoever

GPU when tested has no issue regarding performance.

One more thing is what do you mean by “The problem is back”?  Did you do something that fixed the problem or what?

 

I posted a comparison video on the Nvidia forum,  well 2 vids,  1 of FC5 PC and 1 of FC5 Xbox One X.  The console version looks much much better,  the only problem is that the quality of the videos may not be as good as it should be.

I may record some new footage tomorrow.  Let me know what you guys think..

I did get the second half of the video where you were trying to show the LOD issue. But what was the first half about? Is it the texture loading in front of you?

There is No shimmering like there is in the PC version as well as textures look worse and draw distance is far more limited.  I’ve come to this forum for people with similar issues and for minds to work together to find a solution to this problem.  Having someone tell people “your eyes/mind is playing tricks on you” and or “everything looks fine”  Isn’t any help at all and in my humble opinion is a waste of our time.

I wasn’t able to really show it that well in either video,  I had a hell of a time uploading a video to YouTube from my Xbox one x,  give me a few days and I’ll come up with a better comparison,  if not some clips from some games really showing off these issues.

Beside the obvious resolution difference the PC version is at a different time of day and the lighting actually looks better. The Xbox is at a higher point in the day time so there are less shadows and textures are fully illuminated

One more thing is what do you mean by “The problem is back”?  Did you do something that fixed the problem or what?

 

I posted a comparison video on the Nvidia forum,  well 2 vids,  1 of FC5 PC and 1 of FC5 Xbox One X.  The console version looks much much better,  the only problem is that the quality of the videos may not be as good as it should be.

I may record some new footage tomorrow.  Let me know what you guys think..

The problem was gone several times.

I only did random stuff to fix it temporarily.

Once I DDU and reinstalled driver.

When that didn't work anymore and the problem came back I reset bios.

Last "solution" was changing plugs.

It came back when I installed "Total War Warhammer 2" 2 days ago.

 

First time the problem occurred was when I installed "TES: Morrowind" on my PC... (that was about 8 months ago)

 

About the zoom issue. It feels more like characters are smaller ingame and have less polygons...

I will record these both again but in 4K this time.  I’m not 100% sure about the time of day,  I loaded the only save up on each game which was day-time and then loaded the same fast-travel spot.  I’ll record these again and check the time of day,  both in 4K this time with hdr.

Problems started for me after I put RTX 2080 Ti to my main gaming rig back in december. But the thing is... all this flickering now happens on my secondary PC and even laptop (and some other PCs I tested). It this some kind of magic or what? Maybe RTX has bad aura, lol... because I don't know what else I could do.

@Asasinas I find something different. In your case flickering seems constant but in my case flickering depends on movement of the camera or some other movement(with white pixels/lines moving on the edges). Except flickering other issues are constant in my case for example low lod etc. Maybe my pc is at a stage where it gets extreme.


Your upload to youtube is very clear but whenever i upload to youtube video gets compressed a lot. I am using nvidia capturing software and 1080p source. Is there a secret to uploading on youtube?

 

Edit: This makes me think that we might be mixing up several different cases not only 2. Maybe it's time we should start by clarifying them with symptoms.

Funny thing is:

I see nothing wrong on your videos. Maybe because right now I'm not suffering from this problem?..

 

I said it before and I'll say it again:

I think it is a virus that infects hardware and spreads through the power lines.

After all it's also possible to send data through there (like powerline LAN).

 

The only solution I see is for Anti-virus programs to see and delete these viruses!

 

EDIT:

I can confirm now that objects have less polygons.

For example, in Total War Warhammer: When I suffer from this problem,

there is more space between individual units in battle because they have less polygons...

I tested out shadows PC gaming streaming service and games look like garbage using this too!  How in the hell could this be?

this changes everything,  streaming games from a server Still look bad?
