Upgrading CPU or GPU

GPU ofc, If you have a quadcore i5 there will be like 10% diffirence with the i5 4670K however there will be a 300%+ diffirrence with the new GPU.

Hi all, this is my current spec pc and would like some advice on upgrading my cpu or gpu. :

  • 12Gb DDR3 1333Mhz,
  • Foxconn H55M-S motherboard
  • Intel Core i5 760 quad core (2.8ghz)
  • GIGABYTE GTX 560Ti

i can only really afford one or the other in this situation, but should i:
  1. Upgrade my CPU to a newer gen i5
  2. Upgrade my GPU to a 7970

any help would be appreciated :-)

yea def go with the 7970 very good card and if you can find it for under 300 bucks its a great deal (new R9 280X (or 270x cant remeber) is a rebrand and costs that much)

GPU, if you upgrade your CPU you need a new motherboard. Those 5xx series cards run hot upgrade to a 7xx or a r9 2xx card.
