Switch from Iphone 5c to galaxy s6?

Crushaderdk

Assuming you don't pay too much more for it, I would highly recommend the S7 instead. It is truly a MUCH better phone.

I bought mine new for 460 USD.

How much are you paying for the S6?

Can you explain how/why it is much better?

Would it be a good upgrade?

It depends.

I've owned both of these phones at the same time. (I currently use a Galaxy s7 for personal use, and my company phone is an iphone 6.)

The Galaxy s6 will outperform a 5c in just about every area with the exception of battery life. I had to charge my phone at least once a day if using it for anything more than text messages. However with fast charging you can go from 0 to 100% battery life in around an hour so that's convenient.

If you can handle charging your phone in the middle of the day then the S6 is a good buy, otherwise stick with your iphone until you can afford an S7 which has a much bigger battery.

LOL @ ppl who say yes immediately without knowing at what price.

And another piece of info left out is if an alternative such as iPhone 6s/6s Plus/SE is available. Then a comparison bettween the 6s vs S6 would be in order.

5c => S6 good? yeah of course it's better than a 5c

5c => 6s/6s Plus/SE yeah also good compared to a 5c...
