Matte, Glossy is prone to scratches and finger prints which make it look bad over time.

I still have my glossy LG for 5 years and it still does not have a scratch

I'm a educated fool with money on my mind.

They say i got to learn but nobody here to teach me,if they can't understand it how can they reach me

Power and the money, money and the power, minute after minute, hour after hour

My Motivation

Matte isnt a straight up mirror when sunlight hits it (still not perfect tho), glossy has (placebo) better colors, and is generally easier to clean

Sometimes matte monitors could have a graininess look to them compare to glossy monitors. That being said, the fact that matte monitors don't reflect everything like a mirror makes them superior to glossy monitors. Like Apple's.

Edit: Wrote matte instead of glossy, Rip

But matte just ends up full of dirty spots because you give up after a while :P

I actually fitted my dell with an acryl "screen protector" because then i dont need to worry about it getting dirty.
