Had to leave the preview when I moved the PC to my fathers house so I have missed out on quite a bit over the last few months.

Looks good and I am looking forward to getting my hands on this update.

:)

some of these features i'm looking forward to. especially edge browser getting extensions and dark mode. though there's a couple that looks to be inspired by features on mobile phones, like the notification improvements.

If you wand to fully disable cortana, you can rename or delete the C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\SearchUI.exe.

This will hopefully still be possible with the new update.

Keep in mind, that this will completly disable the start menue search.

Still think the start menu is awful. I'll just have to replace it again.

And then its to me only about as good as the start menu for Windows 95.

I think it "looks" same in terms of style. But it is more useful when all apps is opened from the start.

So for fun, I tried Linux gaming on Windows via Bash. 'cause, it had to be tested

It... works... You can play Tuxracer (http://tuxracer.sourceforge.net/screenshots.html) at a cinematic 15fps peek fps (max settings), and at some point it flickers the screen as you play... you know, like old films. There was no sound either. You have to get your own orchestra to play for you in front.. like the good old days of movies.

Honestly, I was surprised that OpenGL worked. The performance issues and flickering was probably because Xming was not designed for gaming. But, it technically works.

What does it mean by Win32 programs?

What's the title bar?

Sorry for the possibly dumb questions.  lol

Win32 is the normal programs (.exe files) that you run on your computer, as opposed to windows store apps.

The title bar is the bar at the top of the window with the window title and close/minimise/maximise buttons.
