Pokemon Go Power Banks

Whosonicus
Go to solution Solved by Pesukarhu,

mAh stands for milliampere hour. Basically how much power you can pull from the battery. The 5c is supposed to have a 1500mAh battery. If you are playing at the same time you are maybe going to get 50-75% charge from a 2000mAh bank. Depends if they are advertising cell capacity or what it can actually deliver. More mAh is better, and 1Ah = 1000mAh. A 4000mAh bank would probably charge your iphone twice when playing at the same time, and 2,5 times-ish when not in use during charging.

So I have been wasting my life playing Pokémon go, and like everyone's experience, it eats their battery.

I have been looking in local electronic stores and looking for power banks. I usually see something like 2000mAh or 4000mAh.

What do these mean? can I charge my iPhone 5c twice on these? All I now is the higher the better (right?).

Another Question

Some of the power banks I see say it has 5 volts and 1 amp on the usb slots. or 5v and 2.1 amps. do you guys by any chance know the required volts and amps for iPhone 5c? What if I use the wrong slot?

Apple brand iPhone wall adapters charge at 5v 1 amp - so that's what I'd get.

I used to be quite active here.
