Totally clear. 2x RX480's it is.

But my recommendation stands! EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750w, maybe even 850w if you want some extra headroom. :)

So im planning a build which will eventually have 2 rx 480s and a 6600k.

I want to know if i could get away with a VS650 corsair power supply

No no no no no. VS Series from Corsair are really bad PSU. Their high end stuff is amazing, but the VS series... God. Not efficient and won't last more than 2 years from the experiences I had. And also, 650W is a bit tiny for 2 RX480. It will do the job but your PSU won't work at its maximum efficiency. Go for 700+W imo, and look at higer end Corsair PSU, Cooler Master V series, Seasonic PSU or EVGA Supernova

CPU : i7 8700k @5GHz, GPU : ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX, RAM : 2x8Go 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance, MB : ASUS Prime Z370-A, PSU : CM V850, Case :  NZXT S340, CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken x62, Monitor : Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165Hz, OS : Windows 10 Home 64 bits

No worries. Did however realize you said 2x RX480's now.. Might want to look at something else. And I agree with @Nacho Marco Segui, a single 1070 would do you better than terrible crossfire scaling.

I recommend an EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750w/650w PSU, they're fucking lovely.

The VS650 is terrible. Get a different power supply. Plus, GTX 1070 > 2 RX 480s.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Well thats not really up for discussion because im planning for a second only when i feel its needed and not immediately, so as long as 2 rx 480s come close to a 1070 im good. Also, will a cx 750 crosair psu be ok?

So what's your situation that needs two RX 480s?

Not a particularly good plan. Crossfire (and SLI) is flawed so you're better off just upgrading to a single, stronger GPU.

I don't exactly have a crystal ball but I'd say it'd be good (if you lowered down settings) for maybe 3 years.

It seems this has already been solved but no, no no, do not run any GPU with a Corsair VS. They're very, very poor quality and don't perform well. Check out the PSU tier list in my signature. An RX480 would be fine on a tier three PSU and two should go for a tier two or higher. The EVGA GS/G2 as mentioned before are great value and will work.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

My system: PCPartPicker || For Corsair support tag @Corsair Josephor @Corsair Nick || My 5MT Legacy GT Wagon ||
