If I were you, I'd be switching to the X99 platform for its better multithreaded capabilities. I'd also get rid of the voltage locked and hot card that is the Gigabyte.

for 3D modeling (and if you want to make 3D animation) you must take an Nvidia GC , most 3D rendering use GPU acceleration ^^
