Get yourself a GTX 1060, better performance than both for the same or less price. 1060 performs on par with the 980.

Nether, both are completely bonkers overpriced. Get a RX 480 or 1060.

Use the money you save to buy a cooler for that CPU.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

I'm seriously contemplating the 1060 now.

Thanks!

If you want the most out of ether get a cooler and overclock that 4690k.

EVGA has some really good 1060s and in my opinion they look better than even the 1070 or 1080.

Thought i was the only one! The silver just ruins the look in my opinion.

LOL... Newegg.... click to buy 1060 at $249 , sold out... see similar items below... a $399 Gigabyte 1060... F - off.

Says the same for the RX 480. Don't like that Newegg does that but what can you do?

Has the 1060 or the 480 been released can't seem to find it in stock anywhere. Checked Newegg and Amazon and BHPhoto

Also what do you recommend for CPU coolers?

You have to keep checking. There's still more of a demand than supply.

Depends. I'm personally against air coolers as they dump heat into your case, so Id say get a AIO (all in one) I had my H105 on my 4690k when I had it and it did a great job of keeping it and my case cool.

Yeah I was looking around on Newegg earlier, and I happened upon the H105 seemed fairly well priced and lots of good reviews. What have you got in your system right now?

Yep, use it with my 4790k. Stay under 60c gaming while at 4.6GHz

Do you have it exhausting or intaking?

Exhaust. I can drop my CPU temp a few degrees of I use it as an intake but then my case temps rise, and I like to overclock my RAM so want my case temps as chilly as possible
