Why the hate about Trump?

Recommended Posts

@Atmos  While trying to respect your point of view... like WTF kind of reason is that?  Putting Trump in power gives the dumbest people in America political sway.  The man practically hijacked the RP and the shit of the country saw an opportunity to fuck things up.

That is what Trump's populist movement is, a call to the ignorant to be proud of that ignorance; to speak their bigotry out loud.

So you have two corrupt nominees.  Both are out to get rich.  You cannot justify voting for either if you are a decent person.  What you can do is not give pieces of shit like David Duke the leeway to run for office... as he is now trying to do.  Trump is being used by the bigots of the country (I mean generational and culturally driven bigotry) and he does not give a shit.  He likes it.  He might turn on them, but... they are the reason he is where he is.

There was an Alton Sterling thread where a discussion about state violence against innocent people was being discussed.  I have been holding back from posting there.  I thought I might just post there for about a week or two to show innocent people being actively attacked by the state every day, but I stopped after a few incidents.  The community therapist guy that just got shot by police... after he was shot he asked the officer:  Sir, why did you shoot me?  The officer replied:  I don't know.  They made up a story now pointing to the officer's "bad marksmanship".  He was really aiming for the severely autistic man holding a fucking toy truck.

The systemic bigotry is very real.  The systematic action to focus on minority groups by police is very real.  The people that drive this hate toward african american (and others) communities make up a large portion Donald Trump supporters.  A delegate just got her republican credentials revoked the other day for tweeting that officers will snipe niggers protesting outside.  Just stupid shit.

I hope your plan fails Atmos.

While I agree with or understand most of what you said, can you really blame it all on the right though when the left let themselves be taken over by SJWs that are just as ignorant, just as bigoted, just as hateful, etc?

There's little difference to me between "Fuck all mexican immigrants!" and "Fuck all cis white males" to me since well, except for the cis part it all applies to me anyways.

So you'd rather have the most corrupt candidate we've had in ages be in office, than at least give us the chance to have a change?

I also don't think you really understand all of trumps supporters. You say the majority even are racists and generational bigots, but I want to know where you get that information from. I, as well as anyone else with half a mind, am not going to accept sources like fox, cnn, abc, or any of the other major news outlets in the US. I want some legitimate independent studies that show that the majority of trumps supporters are bigots.

Oh, that's just another meme being pushed by the anti-trump and illiberal left media; and there are no independent studies that show that the majority of trumps supporters are racist bigots? Perhaps what you, and the rest of the illiberal media are seeing, are the most vocal of that group. Which, happens all the time. A small, but extremely vocal group can often appear to make up a majority if you don't bother to actually look into it, but simply accept their rhetoric.

And to be completely honest here, I'd still rather have a complete moron in office, who at least is going to do what he says; than a pathological liar, thief, and criminal out for no one else but themselves, and who is willing to do what ever it takes, and take what ever bribes are hinted at them.

Trump is a moron, but he's at least an honest moron. Despite the memes being pushed by the illiberal left.

He lied about knowing who David Duke was.  Why did he do that?

I don't think you understand me.  Corruption is in the system, no matter who you elect.  If you, or any other dummies here, really believe Trump is honest, or a good business man, or something other than a silver spoon fed buffoon...

What can I say?

Donald Trump is a liar.  Say Hilary Clinton lied to combat that.

Donald Trump is corrupt.  Say Hilary Clinton is corrupt to combat that.

Donald Trump is a moron.  Say Hilary Clinton is corrupt to combat that.

Do you think Donald Trump is some kind of smart decision?

It takes a special person to not realize how fucked you guys in the USA are.  At least when it comes to deciding your next president.  There is no rationalization that makes Trump a good candidate, zero.  There is no proof he can even do the job.  He has not governed shit in his life.

Fuck I would rather vote for Clinton just because it will be the first female.  Nothing Trump says or does could possibly sway me to him.  I would abstain completely if I felt I could not vote for Hilary Clinton.  Maybe throw one vote to Johnson or Stein.

You say you don't care about your vote;  that you want to shock your country.  That is so fucking dumb.  Try not voting.  Are you too brainwashed to realize not voting is an option?  FFS.

You know SJW's and me Mis... I take any accusation of a misguided Marxist in a case by case manner.  No broad strokes.  The broader the stroke, the more likely it is that I stand and call myself an SJW.

We all know we the American people are screwed and have been for sometime now. Might as well go Trump, but if we get Clinton in the seat, well... We'll be in even more shit. So guys, let's not go overboard.

Out of the two, that CEO guy takes the cake.

The thing is, American people are not really screwed. They're just been conditioned to believe there is literally no point in voting third party. They're like frogs in water that's being heated very slowly: now that they're being cooked in this bipartisan soup they can't jump out to save themselves: they've waited too long and are too mistrusting to conclusively go "Fuck all this people let's vote for someone else entirely"

Trump has flip flopped on most major issues for decades. He hasn't even managed to stick with a single party(or two parties for that matter).

I dont know much about USA, I am european, but seeing the videos about Trump on the Internet, he seems to me like a normal politician, so why I see everywhere something bad about him? I really just want the honest opinion of americans here.

Its because I listen to the words that come out of his mouth. Then I picture us back in the 1920's at a speech in Germany at a NAZI rally. I truthfully think Donald Trump might be Hitler reincarnated. Dont worry Im not voting for Hillary either. I have decided not to cast a vote for the president this year. Im going to look in to the other stuff on the ballot and decided which is important. If I put anything down in the president section, I might write in Bernie or Ronald Reagan. Only because its time that we elected a dead president. LOL. Thats even if I go vote at all. In likely hood there isnt going to be anything important on the ballot. THe Marijuana vote didnt make it to the ballot this year, I dont smoke it, but I think it could have brought Michigan boat loads of cash and more jobs. I have a feeling the only other thing would be a millage increase which doesn't get past here in Romulus, we dont like increasing property taxes to help schools and fix roads LOL.

He is an ignorant racist who doesn't understand the basics of how the terrorist mind works.

By him saying he wants to ban all Muslims from entering the States, the nut cases who brain wash the people who become terrorist organisation ring leaders get exactly what they want. Resentment, then violence, then war, then if they win, power.

Read what he said about asking Bill Gates to "fix the internet" or the "I know people" speeches he gives on fixing other issues - if it doesn't trouble you, good luck to you. What he wants to enforce would be seriously, seriously dangerous and detrimental and I find it upsetting that people really want to take a step backwards and ignore the progress which has been made in most modern countries.

I forgot to add, getting someone in to office based upon their experience as a "successful business man, a genius, he is." when he has gone bankrupt several times and refers to borrowing $1000000 as a "Small loan" is frightening.

But hey ho, he will probably get in.

Honestly in my opinion neither clinton nor trump are fit to run for president. As for op's question it's a mix of trump not knowing how to explain himself and most media outlets being very liberal.

Actually I first said it as a joke but now I mean this: Trump should appoint Milo Yiannopolous as his oficial spokesman. He truly takes Trump apologetics to a new level.

I bet you're not. Not in the sense that most modern feminist are. Let's forget their usual bait and switch tactics about giving the dictionary definition of Feminism being about equality.

Most of them advocate for female superiority by advocating for affirmative action, advocating for special rights for women above those of men and by outright misinterpreting hard data like the infamous wage gap.

Are you for female superiority? Are you ok with subduing people, to deny them jobs and positions in public office just because of their sex? Because that's exactly what a dangerous Feminists like Justin Trudeau in Canada not only advocate for but already put in practice.

If you mean to say that you're a feminist in the sense that you're egalitarian and are for the equal rights and equality of opportunity, not of outcome, then I think most of us here are actually feminist. This is NOT what modern Feminist or so called 3rd wave feminist are preaching for.

You've lost me a bit I'm afraid, but I see what you'e getting at. Your second sentence contains the line "most modern feminists": how exactly do you quantify that in any meaningful way? Most of who? Most of half the population of the planet, or most of a vague minority?

When you talk about subduing people, I assume you mean specifically men? Yeah, so why is it that when even the slightest suggestion arises that men might be subjected to a hint of oppression themselves (something has been levied at limited at women for untold generations), you can hear the sounds of bizarrely over-sensitive and emasculated guys chasing their dicks left, right and center as they fall off and roll around on the floor? OH, POOR ME, I'M SO OPPRESSED SOMEONE HELP ME CATCH MY WEINER. How many countries out there still punish women for being the victims of rape? How many women - on average - are Presidents, Prime Ministers, Generals, CEOs and heads of industry? How many young guys are going to grow up with completely fucked expectations of what a relationships is because porn teaches them that women are there to be submissive and controlled? How many music videos have guys with their asses hanging out?

If you're talking about attitudes that move into the realms of superiority, then you're not talking about equality anymore, and by extension, something that goes beyond feminism and into an abstraction for personal gain. However you choose to encapsulate feminism, you're still ultimately talking about something that's a backlash against oppression, much in the same way that happens against racism, homophobia, ageism, or issues of class and social standing. And, regardless of the issue, some people will take a hard line approach or milk it (no pun) for their own ends. But, to default to a position where 'feminism' is deemed to be a derogatory term*? That is what I'd consider to be an incredibly dangerous route to go down, especially when it remains such a huge issue worldwide.

Anyways, thanks for the chat Misanthrope. I'd better call it a night!

Anita Sarskesian and her cuck toy (John McIntosh), The girls from MTV, The "I need some muscle over here!" profesor I forgot her name, countless buzzfeed reporters, most of Gawker and Kotaku, fuck virtually ALL Tumblr feminists, etc.

I am actually not sure how could you miss such a large scale, overwhelming prescence of the Cultural Marxist, intersectional type of Feminists out there but yeah what you are describing is actually reasonable and has Little to do with modern feminists bitching about rape culture and the wage gap.

In fact most of them flatout and against reason refuse to talk about actual patriarchies like the ones on the Middle east where women actually are oppressed.

Trump is Trump, I don't think there's much to say really. He's always been like that and there have always been people like him. The only change is that recently there have been people willing to vote for someone like him. Previously that sort of candidate/party wouldn't have been electable. Not so much now. And this is a global thing in response to globalisation and terrorism. In countries with other voting systems this has meant the rise of a third party on the right. In the UK there was UKIP, in Australia there was Palmer United and then One Nation. In the US it doesn't work like that. It's either Red or Blue. So the Republican base has hijacked the party.

Does Trump know what he's going to do? Well no. Neither do his supporters really. But he's saying all the things people on the right want to hear. I don't know what his policies are (does anyone?) but I do know what these parties have asked for in Australia. On the economy it's the talking points of the left but with less ability to pay for it. More welfare, more services, more spending but without increasing taxes. On social policy it's whatever the right has previously done but with all the subtlety of an out of control road-train.

I'd say mostly because the leftists are generally sheep with no actual clue of what is going on, that readily believe the misinformation and lies that the DNC puts out. Just look through that email leak a bit and see the truth for what it is.

Trump is a wild card, and thus is scary to the establishment of both the left and the right. Because he could make them look very bad (not that they haven't done that themselves already).

Personally, I would like to see everyone jump on the libertarian band wagon. We need a third party in this country, that's never been more clear than it is now. The GOP can't stop trump because he's a populist, and will say/do anything that gets him as many votes as possible. The dem's just aren't going to win because Hillary is the worst candidate possible. Her reputation is entirely negative to anyone who's even remotely informed, and the email leak just proves that the DNC doesn't care about people, they care only about enforcing their own agenda and distorting reality to match it. Yeah the GOP are the same, but we've known that for years now.

People need to wake up and see that neither party gives a flying fuck about anything but their own power, money, and agenda. Nothing more. Stop the mentality of "well no one will vote for a third party candidate", it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

He spouts obvious nonsense, he is racist and xenophobic and he obviously has no clue how to run his country. Since the United States' president has a considerable amount of power even outside of the US, having him in that position is a horrible prospect for everyone. Now, Hillary Clinton obviously isn't an angel either, however I think she is sensible enough to not damage the US' relationships with other countries and hold a semi repsectable facade above the shady stuff.

Since it comes down to those two at this point it's about damage control, and Trump is the most dangerous of the two.

Sauron'stm Product Scores:

Spoiler

Just a list of my personal scores for some products, in no particular order, with brief comments. I just got the idea to do them so they aren't many for now :)

Don't take these as complete reviews or final truths - they are just my personal impressions on products I may or may not have used, summed up in a couple of sentences and a rough score. All scores take into account the unit's price and time of release, heavily so, therefore don't expect absolute performance to be reflected here.

-Lenovo Thinkpad X220 - [8/10]

Spoiler

A durable and reliable machine that is relatively lightweight, has all the hardware it needs to never feel sluggish and has a great IPS matte screen. Downsides are mostly due to its age, most notably the screen resolution of 1366x768 and usb 2.0 ports.

-Apple Macbook (2015) - [Garbage -/10]

Spoiler

From my perspective, this product has no redeeming factors given its price and the competition. It is underpowered, overpriced, impractical due to its single port and is made redundant even by Apple's own iPad pro line.

-OnePlus X - [7/10]

Spoiler

A good phone for the price. It does everything I (and most people) need without being sluggish and has no particularly bad flaws. The lack of recent software updates and relatively barebones feature kit (most notably the lack of 5GHz wifi, biometric sensors and backlight for the capacitive buttons) prevent it from being exceptional.

-Microsoft Surface Book 2 - [Garbage - -/10]

Spoiler

Overpriced and rushed, offers nothing notable compared to the competition, doesn't come with an adequate charger despite the premium price. Worse than the Macbook for not even offering the small plus sides of having macOS. Buy a Razer Blade if you want high performance in a (relatively) light package.

-Intel Core i7 2600/k - [9/10]

Spoiler

Quite possibly Intel's best product launch ever. It had all the bleeding edge features of the time, it came with a very significant performance improvement over its predecessor and it had a soldered heatspreader, allowing for efficient cooling and great overclocking. Even the "locked" version could be overclocked through the multiplier within (quite reasonable) limits.

-Apple iPad Pro - [5/10]

Spoiler

A pretty good product, sunk by its price (plus the extra cost of the physical keyboard and the pencil). Buy it if you don't mind the Apple tax and are looking for a very light office machine with an excellent digitizer. Particularly good for rich students. Bad for cheap tinkerers like myself.
