That sounds about typical for a CPU.  Does that ppd including the video card?

Even with the relatively low end 650m (compared to average video cards these days), I would still expect it to generate 15k to 20k ppd.

Hey Pete,

Since yesterday the ppd seems to be going higher, I am now on a total of 9k ppd and yesterday I was on 3k. I think I will stop though since my cpu is at 100% load 95º and my gpu is 100% load at 80º and thats a bit too high for my liking. When I get back to my house next week I can set up a farm.

does sound about right. i don't think it is very recommended to fold on a laptop unless it has very good cooling. i don't think they are meant to run 24/7 under full load
