oldnick

Hi

i really cant deiced which MoBo to get

on paper ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac have best features " i think" but also have alot of bad reviews
Asus Z170I PRO GAMING on the other hand have nice UEFI but no type-c and the wifi not that good < it have better reviews
GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 have type-c but not that good UEFI (as they says) < reviews are good generally

any board over 200$ is out of my reach but i welcome any suggestion

stability is most important factor to me then the features

The best one would be the Impact.  It offers big-boy overclocking VRM just like the high end full size boards, but it comes in MITX fashion.

Stuff:  i7 7700k @ (dat nibba succ) | ASRock Z170M OC Formula | G.Skill TridentZ 3600 c16 | EKWB 1080 @ 2100 mhz  |  Acer X34 Predator | R4 | EVGA 1000 P2 | 1080mm Radiator Custom Loop | HD800 + Audio-GD NFB-11 | 850 Evo 1TB | 840 Pro 256GB | 3TB WD Blue | 2TB Barracuda

It not like you use the UEFI much once the PC is set up, Plus with MITX it's not like you can add new functionality, such as USB Type-C, so of you two options I'd go with the Gigabyte.

Heh. I was gonna scream that but unfortunately big boy vrms don't come in $200. Sigh...

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

Best Z170 ITX board imo is http://pcpartpicker.com/product/MWbkcf/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz170nwifi

Best features for the right price.if you want something a little more flashy, get the Gaming 5. Gigabyte makes good boards. There are certainly better ones for ITX (like the impact) but if price to performance/features is what you want, then the GA-Z170N-WIFI is where its at imo.

this is a good board for the price but dont have usb 3.1 so that make it some how out dated

also dont know about it capability for mild OC

It would be the Asus MAXIMUS VIII IMPACT.

All Maximus series motherboards are awesome and packed with features and high quality components.

The cheapest one with the features you want.

Actually, ITX Is a MASSIVE exception, the VRM's will get SUPER Toasty if you dont get a good board since they are so dense, it gets even worse when you have add in cards like m.2 and a WiFi card, all basically touching your southbridge, I seriously recommend getting this open box board instead of new, as it fits your budget ( Maximus 8 Impact.)

ASUS Z170I and the EVGA Stinger both support M.2 storage IIRC. And they’re great boards.

The Maximus 8 Impact Is definitely in the top 5 For best Z170 Boards period, let alone ITX. EVGA Has a close second with the stinger in ITX :)

3.1 isn't really a huge deal. there are very few devices capable of taking advantage of the increased 3.1 bandwidth anyway. Like I said, if you want something more flashy, get the Gaming 5. That has 3.1. But realistically you don't often need those 3.1 speeds.

You can get a decent OC out of the board as well. Again, there ARE better boards, I won't try to sell you that its the best itx board on the  market. its not by any means. But you seemed like you were on a budget, so I simply mentioned the best budget itx imo.

I think motherboards don't typically affect performance. I select mine based on features and aesthetics. This board has terrible aesthetics imo. So I didn't give it much thought. If its your cup of tea though, then by all means go for it.
