Beyond Pissed at my PS3

My gaming computer is feeling alittle down in the dumps so while I work on that I figured I would play some on my PS3.  That is where I discovered that my controller won't sync....after several attempts to resync it I got annoyed and decided to do with USB cable.  I went to play a game and my Playstation tells me I have to many Playstations registered and that I needed to unregister one of them to continue.  Tried that on the PS3....told me to go to the website.  Tried that on the website it told me that that was only changable by the XMB.  Tried online support....they treated me like a hacker instead of a freaking customer.....all I freaking want to do is game...and I am treated like a criminal.  

 

Without  using the hammer that I would really use to take to the PS3....how do I fix this?

Oh and to help my mood I had someone on the PSN forums tell me this is why you don't share passwords....seriously....makes me want to use the hammer on them not the offending machine.

Out of curiosity why do you have so many PS3 registered.
And in times like this its best to give up while your comps being fixed and explore out side your house, i tried it once and it wasn't that bad.

Haha.  Go ahead....make fun of the geek that is considering a solution with a hammer instead of logic.  Just curious....how many miles did you bike today...I did 5.  Offer solutions...or get out.

This. You gotta understand that if you're using your account on a bunch of different systems it looks a bit suspicious, if it's just that you play with a bunch of friends on each of their systems then call customer support and tell them that, they'll probably still treat you with suspicion because it looks sketchy, but they can probably get it sorted pretty easily if you calmly explain (you sound a bit tense, they may have caught that as you being a jerk, customer service people don't like people they perceive to be jerks) And if you get your account cleared then don't go switching it to every system you see to avoid this issue in the future. Just go find some junk that you can smash for a moment, get all the nerd rage out and remember to be super kind and nice even though support is gonna be irritating

1. I am tense because I got mistreated by Sony....for hours.
2. My account is on one...one ONE PS3....I have looked my account over completely it doesn't look compromised except I have two ghost PS3s Sony seems unwilling to let me remove which I have tried to do several different ways and gotten several different errors in response. 

3. How a geek calms down....Mortal Kombat....out wait...PS3 is broken.  Doom....oh wait PC is broken. Hammer to the knees of the tech support treating me like a grandma that doesn't understand email is still on the table.

well...all I got now is learn to turn yourself into electricity, jump through your phone, murder them and jump back through...might wanna wear a ski mask or something to keep people from IDing you when they investigate what with you being on the line. As Spock would say, may the force be with you

Oh right you wanted solutions, try customer service again, or make a new account. That seems to covers the extent of your options

Try changing your password on the website. This would presumably sign you out on each console (ghost or otherwise) so that you have to sign back in again.  Perhaps that will help.
