cheapened the motherboard to fit a 1080 but I would wait till the gaming X card for the 1080 to come back in stock to fit your black/red

Also buy a OS from https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap for a cheap $30 for win10 buy from a MODERATOR please

Save yourself the 50 or so dollars by removing W10 Home from partpicker and just go on r/microsoftsoftwareswap and get a key for $35 ($45 for a Pro key)

Could use money saved on a better cooler. Would help that 6600K overclock better especially on that board.

This is probably a bad idea. Please don't be too harsh. I am submitting my supposed gaming computer build to the internet. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/HN2FGf There it is! Please review, comment, or even (constructively) criticize.

Not bad eh.

NH-D14. Rivals most of the 240mm AIOs. Because AIOs are poo to begin with.

1. 1440p 165hz. Ehh you may want to look at a 1080.

2. Your monitor is more expensive than my entire build. Just thought I should point that out. :P

Nothing.

Personally not a fan of expensive mobos like that, and would definitely recommend getting your windows license from kinguin or the aforementioned r/microsoftsoftwareswap. And with such an expensive build I'd get a 6700k as well so when dx12 becomes regular use it should see use of all 8 threads, and I'd like to recommend pairing that with the nh u14 but it's too tall for that case... As for the 1080 being worth it, well the monitor has g sync so even if the 1070s frames dip it won't be bad, depends on how long you want to go without upgrading to keep all the settings maxed

yeah, looks like you're really spending extra to get on board wifi you could get this http://pcpartpicker.com/product/m6RFf7/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz170mxgaming5  drop a pciex1 wifi card in, even if you decide to spend the $60-70 difference on that wifi card, it's a separate part you can transfer with your next upgrade and save yourself $60-70 again.
