And the only thing that it could affect is the PSU. If it's not a Chinesum shitty PSU then it should support both 110V(ish) and 230V(ish).

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

All of the parts from USA can be used in europe, but the type of electricity and voltage are different, so the power supply must also support the voltage used in your country. Otherwise the power supply WILL overload and blow up(personally tested this myself by accident :P ).

Power supply. Its the box-like thing with lots of cables with connectors at the end. It converts electricity from the wall into elecricity that is safe for the computer to use.

On some power supplies theres a little red switch that switches the volts from 110 to 240. If it has that you can use it anywhere. If it's a cheaper american one it may not have that so you wouldnt be able to use it.

Apart from that all the parts other than the power supply will work fine.

The US uses a different voltage though. Unless he buys one with variable voltage and buys a power adapter for his country.

Modern power supplies don't have the voltage switch though anymore. They switch automatically.

It probably won't work out much cheaper after you have paid import duty etc. Also if something is faulty then you will probably have to post it back to the usa.

They have automatic switching instead of a physical switch on the decent to crazy PSUs.

Regardless of voltages! dont buy from the US, youll get stuck at Customs and have to pay a ridiculous amount for import costs, best thing to do is to buy locally, or from germany and have it ship to you

Maybe, but I've seen some people's double-certified PSU just implode after moving from countries.

It was a Seasonic, if you were wondering.

Fair enough :P You sure they were using a PSU rated for both 110V and 230V (ish)?
