7.1 Channel Onboard audio (thinking of getting a sound card)

Logitech Z506 5.1 channel speakers

Corsair Vengeance H1100 Headset

I was thinking about getting those speakers myself. How do they sound?

Actually, not to shabby. However, the extra speakers get in the way and all the long cables get to be a pain. For about the same price, I'd recommend thses speakers http://bit.ly/12rW5yF I know they're what Linus always recommends and I've heard lots of good things about them.

Asus Xonar ST

Sennheiser HD600 headphones

That is all you need. Absolutely amazing sound quality. Now that I have bought open-ear headphones, I don't see myself ever going back. I love these things.

Excellent choice! :)

Here's my desktop, I've recently purchased Audeze LCD-X's and a Schiit Lyr 3 multibit.

The bookshelves are SVS Ultra's, the MBM's are Flex 12's from AVSForum. Powered from a Marantz SR7008. I'll be buying an AMP for the bookshelves eventually :-)
