She really doesn't need 16GB of RAM. An i3 is more than enough for what she does and you don't need a cooler. The stock cooler should be fine.
Yeah, my gamer mind is polluting my low end system picking skills. I overlooked the fact that a stock cooler is an option, since I don't normally even consider it.
however, 16GB of ram is probably still useful.
after looking at benchmarks for the i3, you're right. it will be more than enough.
