The Xiaomi Yi should be good.  As for accessories I don't know.

they arent fake go pros, they are just different brand cameras

 

the Xiaomi Yi are good, SJCam 4000 are also good

Thanks, anything that can do 4k for a similar price? Ive heard the yi is better than the sjcam at evrything but sharpness, which is where it struggles...

Whats the best action camera for under £100 with 4k and good slowmo? The best GoPro Hero 4 Black killer?

I want something that can do 4k, or atleast 1440p30 and also 720p120 or better. 480p240 would be nice too, but not necessary.

A budget camera that can rival the GoPro alternatives.

ok, so i dont mind it not having 4k, just really good quality 1080p or 2k. mainly i want good quality slow motion, also the sj5000x has an issue with color?

thanks, looks like the xiaomi is the best way. The 5000x might have updated and fixed that now, so ill look into it.

How is the Contour? Its nearly in my budget.

The Sony is pushing it. Can the contour mount to normal go pro mounts?

the 5000x has fake slow motion apparently. its only around 90fps

do you know of where i can buy the xiaomi yi? I can only find DX.com, and i dont really trust that site.

 

Edit: Amazon seems to have it, but for £80, which is a lot more than the £50ish from china.

Take a look at the ELE Explorer 4k - it does 4k okay-ish and 1080p really well, and it's only £43 from GearBest (from China, though - although you might be able to pick it up somewhere else a bit closer). IMHO, it does 1080p better than the Xiaomi Yi - comparison video here - and comes with a whole bunch of GoPro compatible mounts and bits.

Nope, 720/120 is the only slow mo mode. Given that it's the same internals as the SJ5000X/SJ8000, I'd say that it's probably blended 120fps - although I can't find out for sure. I don't think you're going to get much else at this price point.

Easier to colour grade the Yi though, so probably looks better graded but yeah that camera seems good for £43

 

most cheap cameras look a bit shit and have limited slow motion, I mean.. you are spending very little money

yeah, slow mo is a big problem, so ill have to go with the yi. the ele has fake 120fps.
