Overclocking Failed?!

Jownjown

Specs:

i5-6400

8gb Crucial Ballixtix

Asus H110-D

I had this PC for a few months now. Just this morning, When I booted up my PC, Bios Message suddenly appeared saying "Overclock Failed! Press F1 to go to Bios"

So I was startled, I went to the Bios and reset everything to default.

Now I'm scared to shut it down.

I did not overclock anything. Neither of the RAM, CPU etc.

Was this just a bug? or a Major Issue?

Replies will be appriciated.

One thing to know is that, last night, I accidentally pressed the power button. So it booted up, but I was impatient, so I hold the power button to shut it down.

According to this video:

Can anyone verify this? Thanks!

I once accidentally set my RAM speed to DDR3-1600, while my Pentium G2030 can handle only DDR3-1333 - got the same message! I had to reset the BIOS settings, and everything was back to normal! Problem solved!

Nothing to see here ;)
