MSRP IS just a base foundation price in where it starts it

IT DOES not mean all of them will be at that price

kinda like when the evga 980ti kingpin was more expensive then the base titan x?

Kingpin has some shit that makes it more expensive than base models

demand is strong for the 1070/1080, but supply is low, hence the hefty markup

and now that nvidia established the founders edition, it allows custom board partners to price however their cards over retail price

It has every right to be more expensive lol.

Either way. The common folks who are looking at high performance gaming weren't looking at king pin cards.

Around. It's for an OC'd card, so we'll probably see units in the $390-400 range once the supply increases/demand decreases.

Wait few more months for prices to get stable, and for more supplies to come.

Then you will be able to find GTX 1070 for around 400$.

Untill then, you have to pay 100$ extra for fast service.
