This run was at 5.4ghz all core. I didn't do process shutdowns or anything. 24/7 is 5.1ghz all core. I did this mostly see if I could. If I tweaked I could get a lot higher.

Oof.  Drop that RAM tRFC from that horrible 630.  Heck, fix all the timings.  And throw some speed at it.

Just built a new rig for 3D rendering a couple of days ago. Currently putting it through its passes to see how it performs. This is my first ever AMD build so I'm still learning.

Ryzen Threadripper 3970x

Cooling: Custom loop - 2x360 EK rads - Heatkiller copper/nickel block

R20 Score 19344 - 4.425GHz all core @ 1.45v (CB wasn't very stable when rendering at this speed and voltage though)

R15 Score 7809 -  4.3GHz all core @ 1.35v (v stable)

I think there might be a little clock stretching going on there.  Just a smidge.

Edit:

Wait, I see what your RAM is running now.  That might be why that score isn't higher.

Figured I'd throw my scores in too, all overclocking done via Ryzen Master, didn't mess with LLC or anything in BIOS, but here are my scores.

PSA: No, I didn't waste all that money on computers, (except the main one) my server cost $40, the intel NUC was my old PC (although then it had 8GB of ram, I gave the bigger stick of ram to a person who really needed it), my laptop is used and the second PC is really cheap.

I like tinkering with computers and have a personal hatred towards phones and everything they represent (I daily drive an iPhone 7, or a 6, depends on which one works that day)

Hello, I've posted scores for my 3900x @4.3 GHz. But here is I think more interesting setting.

I have been searching setting for Folding@Home as it is very energy consuming and we have to fight SARS-Cov-2.
My Goal was to get <84'C on CPU and 60'C on GPU.

So here it is setting where CPU during C R20 never reach 72'C.

Real Idle around 38'C  Windows Idle around 43'C

Vcore as low as 1.248 around 1.25 during load
CCD0 @4.3 set in BIOS CCD1 @4.2 also set in BIOS not Ryzen Master
So I get a little lower scores in R20 and R15 but all in all.
I've tried to show all important settings.
Best! Stay safe!
Piotr

2 Very different ends of the spectrum...

R9 3900x @ Stock. 32 RAM 3000MHz C16 with loosey-goosey timings. Need to spend some time dialing this thing in...  Also, absolute worst case scenario, had a whole bunch of crap open and was using my system actively while the test ran

2014 Macbook Air base model... i5-4260u, 4GB RAM. My daily laptop, gave this the best case scenario. NOTHING open, sitting to the side untouched. Actually shocked it outbenched a newer mobile i5!

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I recently upgraded my AMD A6-3670 to an FX 6300 so I thought I'd put up my new OC score.  My motherboard isn't the best for overclocking and doesn't have vrm heat-sinks but I think I did pretty good.  Should I get some from amazon and stick them on with thermal glue? And does anyone have tip to a higher stable overclock? My motherboard is an ASUS M5A78L-M USB3

The motherboard and cpu was on ebay for 74 dollars but it was on sale for 40 something and adding shipping was only 63 dollars.  I cant afford to get a cpu mobo and ram all at once right now and I figured this would at least let me game at 1080p ^-^)b
